Distillers Challenge, held each April in San Diego, welcomes domestic and international producers of distilled spirits and spirits products. It is the only all-spirits competition within the Challenge Series of respected wine and spirits competitions, established in 2003.
How it works
Distillers Challenge is an international spirits competition open to all producers of commercially available Distilled Spirits, RTD Cocktails, Mixers and other spirits products. Judging is conducted in a double-blind tasting format by panels comprised of professional distillers.
In addition to invaluable third-party endorsement from your peers, winning a spirits award offers a number of marketing benefits to distinguish your brand and gain industry and consumer recognition. Platinum, Gold and Silver medals are bestowed as well as Best of Class, Best of Show, Special Recognition, and Package Design awards. Platinum award winners receive full reviews in SpiritsReviewOnline.com.
General information for the 2024 competition
Registration for the 2024 Distillers Challenge International Spirits Competition is now closed. The 2025 Distillers Challenge dates will be announced soon. Check back often.
The fee to enter is $300 per spirits or spirits product. A discount rate of $275 per entry is offered for products registered by the early-bird deadline. Product can also be entered into the Package Design Competition for a separate fee. For complete details, see Entry Guidelines.
